Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc voiced on Thursday adherence to national dialogue and political openness in dealing with local Lebanese affairs, stressing that ending the Israeli aggression is a priority.
In a statement on the eve of Eid Al-Adha, the Hezbollah’s bloc affirmed commitment to “the discourse of understanding on the Lebanese national interests.”
It underlined the importance of ending the Israeli occupation of the Lebanese territories, halting the ongoing aggression and violations, releasing prisoners, and seriously launching the efforts of reconstruction.

As it voiced openness to cooperate with the heads of the country’s constitutional authorities and the political powers, the Loyalty to Resistance bloc stressed importance of “adopting positive and responsible approaches to deal with controversial issues.”
Such issues “cannot be addressed by challenging and relying on external forces,” the statement added.
Meanwhile, the bloc thanked “all countries that have shown a serious willingness to contribute to the reconstruction” efforts.
On the other hand, the bloc denounced as “unjust” the hike in fuel prices decided by the Lebanese government last week, saying that the decision “will impose heavy burdens that neither citizens nor the agricultural and industrial production sectors can bear.”
Earlier on Wednesday, the Loyalty to Resistance bloc paid a visit to Prime Minister Nawaf Salam in the Grand Serail.
