As part of the “Breaking the Sword” ambush operation, Hamas’ armed wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, has released footage showing sniper attacks on several Israeli occupation soldiers using the “Ghoul” sniper rifle east of Beit Hanoun, at the northernmost edge of the Gaza Strip.
On Friday, the group announced it had carried out a sniper operation targeting Israeli occupation soldiers and officers along Al-Awda Street, east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza.
The Israeli occupation army resumed its aggression and tightened its siege on the Gaza Strip at dawn on March 18, 2025, following a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that had come into effect on January 19. However, throughout the ceasefire period, the occupation consistently violated the terms of the agreement.
Later on, Al-Qassam Brigades released a video that displayed an operation to rescue prisoners from a tunnel bombed by the occupation army several days ago.
