The father of Israeli-American who is held captive in Gaza wondered how the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans on freeing the last hostage without ending the war on the besieged strip.
Asked for his message to Israeli and American leaders amid the latest standstill in hostage negotiations, the father of the captive Edan Alexander told NewsNation’s ‘Morning in America,’ “I wonder when President [Donald] Trump will lose patience with the situation. He gave a lot of credit to Prime Minister [Benjamin] Netanyahu to restart this war.”

“And to [the] Prime Minister, the question still remains, the same one: How do you plan to get the last hostage out without ending this war and without committing to the second phase of this deal?” Adi Alexander added.
Hamas resistance group released a video of Alexander on the eve of the Passover holiday on Saturday. His father called the clip a “sign of life.”
Later Monday, Hamas said it has lost contact with the operatives holding Alexander in Gaza.
“We announce that we have lost contact with the team guarding soldier Edan Alexander following a direct Israeli bombardment targeting their location. We are still trying to reach them,” said Abu Obeida, the spokesman for Hamas’s military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades.
