The statement reiterated their longstanding position, asserting, “Hezbollah has no involvement in any events taking place inside Syrian territory.”
According to the National News Agency, multiple rockets fell in the border town of al-Qasr, reportedly fired from the Qusayr countryside in Syria.
According to reports, an artillery shell fired to struck a house in Hawdh al-Assi, near Hosh al-Sayyid Ali, a village along the Lebanese-Syrian border.
One child was martyred and four other individuals were wounded in the bombardment.
In related development the Lebanese army, in coordination with the Lebanese Red Cross, handed over the bodies of three Syrian fighters at the Jousiyeh al-Qaa border crossing.
