The Israeli occupation army acknowledged the death of Colonel “Ihsan Daqsa”, commander of Brigade 401, and the serious injury of other officers after falling into an ambush prepared by the Palestinian resistance in Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli media reported that the commander of the Armored Brigade (401) entered Jabalia, north of the Gaza Strip, to receive intelligence information from the field, and was killed in the bombing of a “Nimr” personnel-carrier. He was one of the highest-ranking Israeli military officers killed in the Gaza Strip.
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper explained that the vehicle of the commander and a tank both together ran over a highly explosive device in Jabalia.
