Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Tuesday its air defenses successfully shot down a US MQ-9 drone over Saada, the second drone to be shot down in the last 72 hours.
Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said that the Yemeni air defenses shot down the US drone while conducting a hostile mission over Saada.
“It’s the second drone to be downed in the last 72 hours, and the ninth one in Operation The Promised Conquest in support of Al-Aqsa Flood battle,” Saree said during a press conference.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson hailed the heroic shooting which killed three Israelis at King Hussein Bridge Crossing by Jordanian driver Maher Al-Jazi on Sunday.
Saree also called on the Arab and Muslim nation to perform their religious, moral and humanitarian duties towards the Palestinian people who have been subjected for nearly a year to a genocide, backed by the US and the UK.
The Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman stressed they will go ahead with military operations in support of Palestine.
Earlier on Sunday, Yemeni Armed Forces shot down a US drone over the province of Marib.
