The Israeli aggression in the West Bank entered the second week on Wednesday, with Palestinian resistance heroically confronting Israeli offensive as the occupation forces expanding raids.
Israeli raids focused in Jenin and Tulkarm, Palestinian media reported, adding that Israeli bulldozers have been causing widespread destruction in the two cities and their refugees camps.
Citing its correspondents on the ground, Palestinian official WAFA news agency said Israeli occupation forces dropped bombs on the Tulkarm refugee camp, causing fires to break out in Al-Shamaliya neighborhood.
At least eight people sought treatment for suffocation, it reported, adding that Israeli snipers were stationed on roofs of tall buildings, while spy drones continued to fly at altitudes and bulldozers damaged infrastructure, with “no street or alley left without destruction,” it reported.

In Jenin, which has been besieged for around a week now, the Israeli occupation army sent more reinforcements to the city’s refugee camp.
Palestinian media reported that residents continue to see Israeli occupation forces destroying their streets and infrastructure, and that many families are now out of food, drinking water or medicine.

Meanwhile, Palestinian media put the death toll in the West Bank at 33 since the start of the aggression last Wednesday (August 28).
Explosive Devices
On the other hand, resistance groups announced their fighters were defiantly confronting the Israeli aggression.
“Our fighters continue to detonate a number of pre-prepared explosive devices on the military vehicles supply line on the Nazareth and Hamama axis, achieving direct hits,” Jenin Battalion of the Islamic Jihad’s Al-Quds Brigades said Tuesday in a statement.
“Our heroes also continue to fight fierce battles with the enemy forces on the various combat axes, showering the enemy forces with hail of bullets,” the resistance group added.
Israeli media described the explosive devices planted by the Palestinian resistance as threatening to the Israeli occupation forces.
Arrest Campaign
In the same context, Israeli occupation forces have rounded up at least 30 Palestinians in raids across the occupied West Bank since last night, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society.
Among those apprehended were children and former prisoners, the group said.
Their detentions bring the total number of Israeli arrests in the West Bank since October 7 to more than 10,400, it added.
