Thousands of Lebanese traveled to Karbala for the Arbaeen commemorations of Imam Hussein ibn Ali (A.S.), including those who had offered family members as martyrs in support for Gaza and All the Way to Al-Quds.
Among them was the son of Hezbollah martyr Khalil Jawad Shihimi (Siraj), who joined the procession from Najaf to Karbala. Upon seeing a portrait of his father, he paid a deeply moving tribute.
The young man’s image widely resonated on social media platforms, touching the hearts of supporters of the martyrs of the Islamic Resistance.
Many of the martyr’s devotees also shared photos of him participating in the Arbaeen pilgrimage before his martyrdom:
