Resistance groups in Yemen and Iraq continue their anti-Israel strikes in support of the oppressed people of Gaza, with the two factions announcing two joint operations.
The Yemeni Armed Forces declared late on Saturday that they conducted, in cooperation with the Iraqi Islamic Resistance, two joint military operations in the Port of Haifa and in the Mediterranean Sea.
The first operation targeted four ships in the Port of Haifa, the Yemeni Armed Forces said in a statement, adding that “these included two cement-carrying vessels and two general cargo ships belonging to companies that violated the prohibition on entering the ports of the occupied Palestinian territories.”
“The operation was executed using a number of drones,” Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree said.
The second operation targeted the ship “Shorthorn Express” in the Mediterranean Sea en route to the Port of Haifa, also using several drones, the statement read.
It noted that “the operations successfully achieved their objectives with precise and direct hits, thanks to Allah.”
Later on Sunday morning, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq said its fighters hit a vital target in the occupied city of Umm Al-Rashrash, known also as Eilat, this morning, Sunday, 23rd June 2024, using drone technology.

The Iraqi resistance group said the strike comes “in continuation of our approach in resisting the occupation, in support of our people in Gaza, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.”
It reiterated the group’s “continued commitment to striking the enemy’s strongholds.”
