On the first anniversary of the 2024 Israeli war on Lebanon, Hezbollah’s Military Media launched the “Uli al-Ba’s” (Formidable in Might) series, an episodic documentary chronicling the daily course of the battle. Far from being a mere record of events, the series presents a historical document of steadfastness and sacrifice, telling the story of men who, with their blood, carved eternal chapters of glory in the history of the resistance.
The Battle of Uli al-Ba’s – Monday, October 7, 2024
In commemoration of Day 15 of the war, Hezbollah’s Military Media detailed the operations carried out by the Islamic Resistance on Monday, October 7. In response to Israeli aggression and in defense of Lebanon and its people, resistance fighters launched thirteen military operations, most of them targeting enemy settlements, positions, barracks, and troop gatherings along the Lebanese–Palestinian border with rockets and artillery shells.
Resistance fighters directly engaged Israeli forces across several axes on the southern border. Among the most notable confrontations were:
- Maroun al-Ras Park
- The gate of Rmeish
- The al-Qalaa Heights in Blida
These sites came under heavy rocket and artillery fire, resulting in confirmed enemy casualties.
A senior officer from the Resistance operations room noted that the Israeli army has been attempting to use UNIFIL positions as human shields to mask its failure in advancing towards Lebanese villages. He stressed that instructions were given to resistance fighters to exercise caution and avoid targeting enemy soldiers positioned behind UNIFIL sites, in order to ensure the safety of international personnel.
Missile and Rocket Strikes
The Islamic Resistance’s missile force escalated its attacks, targeting military bases, settlements, and cities across northern occupied Palestine. Strikes extended from the occupied city of Haifa in the west to Safed in the east, and across the Galilee panhandle settlements in the north.
As part of the “Khaybar” series, Hezbollah’s missile units carried out a unique operation by launching a barrage of rockets at the Glilot base, the headquarters of Israel’s elite Military Intelligence Unit 8200, located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv.

Casualties and Impact
The Israeli army spokesperson confirmed the death of one soldier and the serious injury of two others during clashes along the southern border. Meanwhile, Israeli police reported that rockets struck several locations in Tiberias, leaving multiple injuries.
Israeli media further reported a large explosion in the Gush Dan area in central occupied Palestine, amid claims that a rocket fired from Lebanon fell directly in the area.
Throughout the day, 32 air raid sirens were triggered across northern occupied Palestine, stretching along the coastal line from Ras al-Naqoura to Haifa, and further inland across Maalot-Tarshiha, the Galilee panhandle, and even reaching the suburbs of Tel Aviv.
On Day 15 of the war, the Islamic Resistance intensified its operations both on the ground and across the occupied territories, achieving notable breakthroughs by striking deeper into Israeli strategic heartlands.
