Hezbollah’s Military Media published a video showing the Lebanese resistance group’s first ever strike against Israeli target in the occupied territories.
The footage, published late on Thursday, shows a Hezbollah drone, equipped with S5 air-to-surface missiles, targeting an Israeli site in Metula, an Israeli settlement located on the border with Lebanon.
As it is shown in the video, the drone fired the two missiles at a concentration of Israeli enemy soldiers and a military vehicle, before it reached its final target, achieving a direct hit.
The resistance group’s Military Media also published photos showing the strike.
The strike on Metula marks a new era in the military confrontation with the Israeli enemy, as it is the first-time surface-to-air rockets are fired towards Israeli targets in decades.
Thursday’s strike on Metula was one of 11 pro-Gaza attacks carried out by Hezbollah against Israeli targets.
