Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Tuesday a fresh pro-Gaza strike employing a new drone against a vital target in the Zionist entity.
In a statement released early on Tuesday, the resistance group said its fighters launched kamikaze drone targeting a vital installation in the Israeli port of Eilat.
The new strike comes “in continuation of the struggle against the occupying Israeli regime, in support of Palestinians in Gaza, and in retaliation for the massacres that the usurping Zionist entity is perpetrating against civilians, including women, children and the elderly” in the besieged Palestinian territory, the statement read.

The strike marked the first application of Al-Arfad suicide drones in operations against Israeli targets. Al-Arfad drones resemble the Yemeni Armed Forces’ domestically-developed and long-range Sammad drones, which have been heavily deployed against Western naval forces and the Israeli occupation.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, meanwhile, vowed to go ahead with strikes targeting important installations across the occupied lands.
