In a series of intense confrontations, citizens of the town of Silat Al-Dhahr and the village of Arbouna engaged with the Israeli occupation forces late last night.
According Plestinian media, the Israeli occupation forces advanced into Silat Al-Dhahr, located south of Jenin, and Arbouna, northeast of the city. The occupation was fraught with gunfire, sparking clashes between locals and the Israeli occupying forces.
Israeli occupation forces also stormed the neighboring villages of Deir Ghazala, Arana, Al-Jalama, Faqoua, Jalboun, and Al-Fandakumiya within Jenin. This siege triggered a massive search campaign, although no arrests were made.
Palestinian sources revealed that the Israeli occupation army has deployed additional military reinforcements with the intention of storming the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, as well as various locations across the West Bank. The western region of the city is also expected to face occupation forces.
