The strikes occurred amidst confrontations between Palestinian Resistance fighters and Israeli occupation forces in the southern regions of Gaza. The Israeli artillery shelling also targeted the outskirts of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.

Earlier reports indicated that five Palestinians were martyred and over 24 others injured in a separate attack near the al-Nabulsi and Kuwaiti roundabouts in Gaza City. The Ministry’s spokesperson confirmed the deaths of a 15-year-old child and a 72-year-old man due to these conditions.
