The Yemeni navy carried out two specific military operations in which they targeted two American ships in the Gulf of Aden with naval missiles.
“In response to the American-British aggression on Yemen and support of the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza facing the Zionist aggression and siege, the naval forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces targeted two American ships in the Gulf of Aden, the first was ‘Sea Champion’ and the other was ‘Navis Fortuna’,” the Yemeni military command announced in a statement.
The targeting operation was carried out with a number of appropriate naval missiles, and the hits were accurate and direct, the statement mentioned.
“The total number of military operations carried out during the past twenty-four hours is four . The first targeted a British ship, which resulted in its complete sinking. The second operation targeted the American aircraft ‘MQ9’ in the airspace of Hodeidah Governorate, while the last two operations targeted two American ships.”
The Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed the full right to take further military measures in the Red and Arab seas in defense of Yemen, support of Palestinian people, and confirmation that the maritime operation will continue till the end of the Zionist war on Gaza.
