On this Saturday morning, the Zionist occupation forces launched an attack on a residential building in the Mezzeh neighborhood of the Syrian capital, Damascus, resulting in its utter devastation.
According to Syrian sources, the targeted locale encompasses diplomatic missions. The brutal Zionist aggression led to the martyrdom of five individuals, whose identities are yet unknown.
Syrian local news outlets disseminated footage of voluminous plumes of smoke billowing from residential edifices in the Mezzeh neighborhood, located to the west of Damascus. In tandem, other images portrayed the aftermath of the assault, showcasing the complete collapse of the targeted building.
Issam Al-Amin, the Director General of Al-Mowasat Hospital in Damascus, has confirmed that one individual has tragically lost their life, while three others have sustained injuries. These casualties are the initial results of the recent aggression in the Mezzeh Western Villas area of Damascus.
In a report by the Syrian newspaper Al-Watan, Ismail Al-Sindawi, the representative of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Syria, reassured that all members of the Jihad movement in Damascus are unharmed. He emphasized that the aggression did not target any of the movement’s offices.
