The Israeli occupation forces raided several homes in the towns of Dura and Yatta in the Al-Khalil (Hebron). The dawn raids left locals terrified and resulted in clashes between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupying forces. Reports from local sources indicate that Israeli occupation troops stormed the Al-Alqa area in Dura and conducted a thorough search of prisoner Ayed Dudin’s house. Additionally, they blew up the doors of multiple old and uninhabited houses.
The occupation forces didn’t stop there. They also targeted the Raqaa area in Yatta, where homes belonging to Raafat Khaled Jabour and other members of the same family were searched. This wave of raids extended to the Dheisheh camp southeast of Bethlehem, with several homes being ransacked.
Residents in the city of Ramallah witnessed the occupation forces entering from the northern axis and patrolling Al-Irsal Street. The military checkpoint at the entrance to Beit Iksa, northwest of occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem), was closed off, leaving Palestinians unable to reach their homes.
The tension escalated in the town of Al-Issawiya, north of Ramallah, as confrontations erupted between Palestinian resistance fighters and the occupation forces. Palestinian media sources confirmed that live bullets were fired at young men.
The raids in Dura, Yatta, and Ramallah followed the occupation forces’ intrusion into the Al-Tira neighborhood in the center of Ramallah, accompanied by “Yamam Unit.” This escalation of force has tragic consequences for the Palestinian people, as the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that eight Palestinians were martyred in the West Bank. Seven individuals lost their lives during the storming of the Jenin camp, while another died from injuries sustained from occupation bullets in Abwein, located in the Ramallah Governorate.
