The Yemeni Armed Forces have successfully targeted the CMA CGM TAGE ship in the Red Sea, which was en route to the ports of occupied Palestine. In a televised statement today, Wednesday, Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said, “The operation came after the ship’s crew refused to respond to calls from the Yemeni naval forces, including fiery warning messages.”
“This operation serves as an affirmation of the Yemeni Armed Forces’ unwavering position in refusing any collaboration with the occupying Zionist entity. Our forces reiterate their commitment to obstructing Israeli vessels or any other vessels bound for the ports of occupied Palestine until the entry of essential provisions, such as food and medicine, is permitted into the besieged Gaza,” Brigadier Saree elucidated.
He also reiterated that cargo ships could still freely sail the Red and Arab Seas, except for those dealing with or heading to the Israeli occupying entity.
Furthermore, Brigadier Saree underscored that “any act of aggression by the United States or any measures construed as protection for commercial vessels en route to the Zionist entity will not be left unanswered and will incur a swift and fitting response.”
Saree extended his congratulations and condolences on the martyrdom of the Hamas Deputy Chief, Saleh Al-Arouri, after An Israeli aerial attack on an apartment and a car in Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh) on Tuesday.
