Scores of civilians were killed and injured in a spate of terrorist bombings that rocked several areas across Syria on Monday.
The blasts took place in Tartous countryside, Hasaka, Homs and Damascus countryside.
Tartous Countryside
At least 30 civilians were killed and many others were injured in twin terrorist bombings in Tartous countryside, SANA news agency reported.
One of the two terrorist blasts was carried out by a car bomb which exploded at Arazona Bridge on the international highway in Tartous countryside, followed by another terrorist bombing carried out by a suicide bomber with an explosive belt who blew himself up after the citizens gathered to take the wounded to the hospital, a source at Tartous Police Command told SANA.
For his part, Director of al-Basel hospital in Tratous Mohammad Hussein put the death toll at 30 killed and 43 wounded.
Hasaka
Five civilians were killed in another terrorist bombing by an explosives-packed motorcycle north of Hasaka city.
A security source told SANA reporter that the terrorist bombing occurred when an explosives-packed motorcycle blew up at Marsho roundabout north of Hasaka city.
The terrorist bombing, according to the source, claimed the lives of 5 civilians and injured two other persons as it caused material damage to the private and public properties.
Homs
Elsewhere in Homs, a car bomb explosion took place at the entrance of Bab Tadmur neighborhood killing four people and injuring ten others.
Director of Homs Health Directorate Hassan al-Jindi confirmed the death toll.
SANA reporter indicated that the terrorist bombing caused material damage to a number of the neighboring houses and cars.
Damascus Countryside
A source at Damascus Countryside Police Command said that a terrorist bombing took place on the road of al-Sabboura-Bajja, claiming the life of a person and injuring three others.
ISIL terrorist group claimed responsibility for the bomb attacks, detailing in statement some of their circumstances.
