Sunday has witnessed so far not-stop attacks by Hezbollah against Israeli border posts, a day after the Lebanese resistance group’s Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah said that the battlefield has the final say in the war between the resistance and the Zionist occupation.
Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance announced in five separate statements on Sunday its fighters have struck Israeli posts in several areas across the border between south Lebanon and the occupied territories.
It stressed that the strikes were “in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their courageous and honorable resistance.”
In the first statement, carried by Al-Manar, the Islamic Resistance announced targeting an Israeli logistics force near Dovev Barracks emphasizing that confirmed casualties were among the occupation forces.
It noted that the targeted Israeli unit “was planning to install transmission towers and spying devices in a newly established post near Dovev Barracks.”
Israeli media, for its part, reported the strike, quoting Israeli emergency service as saying that an Israeli was critically injured and that three to five others were seriously wounded in an anti-tank guided missile attack from Lebanon.
The Lebanese resistance movement announced a second strike on the same area, Dovev Barracks, but this time targeting an Israeli bulldozer. It said that the bulldozer’s crew was killed, noting that forces in the area were also killed or injured.
The third statement said that the Islamic Resistance “targeted a gathering of Zionist enemy personnel at 14:15 on Sunday, in the vicinity of Al-Tayhat Ruwaisat Al-Assi triangle, using appropriate weapons, resulting in confirmed injuries.”
The Islamic Resistance then announced it has hit “an enemy infantry gathering in Birkat Risha at 14:30 on Sunday, 12th November 2023, using appropriate weapons, resulting in confirmed injuries,” the fourth statement read.
The fighters of the Islamic Resistance also targeted Zarit Barracks at 14:30 on Sunday, “using artillery shells, achieving direct hits and causing casualties,” according to the fifth statement.
Earlier on Sunday, Hezbollah Military Media Center released video showing the strike on Israeli posts near Al-Assi site facing the Lebanese border town of Mais Al-Jabal.
Al-Manar correspondent in south Lebanon reported that the Israeli occupation army struck several Lebanese towns across the border with occupied Palestine. Al-manar’s Ali Shoeib said that border towns of Teir Harfa, Rmeish, Mais Al-Jabal, Yaroun, Ayta Al-Shaab, Kfarkila, Shebaa, Kfarshouba and Shiheen were subjected to Israeli air strikes and artillery shells.
