The Palestinian Resistance fighters continued on Sunday clashing with the Zionist occupation forces in the settlements of Gaza enclave despite the escalated Israeli aggression on the besieged Strip.
On the second day of the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, published scenes of explosive-laden unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) used during the massive surprise attack on occupied territories.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also announced control of the “Ra’im” military base, the headquarters of the Israeli Gaza Division, during the first day of the battle, saying that its fighters carried out the mission and then returned to the Gaza Strip.
According to the Israeli Army Radio, several notable ‘casualties’ have been reported among the Israeli military personnel stationed in the Gaza envelope. These include the commander of the Nahal Brigade, the commander of the communications battalion, the deputy commander of the Magellan unit, as well as a company commander and a platoon commander from the Home Front Command. It further informed that the Israeli army has officially released the names of 30 soldiers who have been killed in the conflict. Additionally, it was reported that an Israeli officer fell dead to Palestinian resistance gunfire within the Gaza Strip.
In the meantime, the enemy’s warplanes launched numerous raids against the residential buildings, public institutions, and military sites in Gaza.
The Palestinian health ministry pointed out that the number of martyrs claimed by the enemy strikes on the Strip had risen to 413 with almost 2300 injuries, indicating that the Israeli enemy committed 8 massacres in the Strip.
In response, the Palestinian resistance continued firing missiles at the Zionist settlements, carrying out infiltration operations in order to reinforce the fighters still clashing with the enemy troops within the occupied territories.
Hamas military wing also announced it would reveal the total number of Israeli prisoners it had captured during the upcoming hours.
Thus, the clashes between the Palestinian Resistance fighters and the Israeli enemy troops in Sderot and other positions continued as the Zionist Army announced it would evacuate all the settlers from the Gaza enclave.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah announced on Sunday it had targeted three Israeli posts in occupied Shebaa Farms, in a clear message of solidarity with Palestinian people and resistance.
In a statement, Hezbollah Media Relations declared that Units of Martyred Commander Imad Mughniyeh hit three Israeli posts in occupied Shebaa Farms.
“On the path to liberate the remaining part of our occupied Lebanese land and in solidarity with the victorious Palestinian resistance and the steadfast Palestinian people, the groups of the martyr commander Hajj Imad Moghniyeh in the Islamic Resistance carried out an attack this Sunday, October 08, 2023, targeting 3 Zionist occupation sites in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms region,” the statement, carried by Al-Manar, read.
It named the three sites: Radar, Zibdin and Ruweissat Al-Alam. The resistance fighters used a significant number of artillery shells and guided missiles, resulting in direct hits on these sites, the statement added.
Hezbollah also erected again the tent targeted by the Israeli jets missiles this morning. This tent had been placed by the Islamic Resistance off the Zionist Zibdin site in the occupied Shebaa Farms you to humiliate the enemy.
Gaza-based Hamas Palestinian resistance movement launched on Saturday a surprise operation in which its fighters infiltrated and controlled several Israeli settlements in Gaza envelope and fired thousands of rockets at Al-Quds and several Israeli cities.
The operation, dubbed Al-Aqsa Flood, has killed 700 Israelis so far and injured more than 2200 others.
