A complete calm is still prevailing in the Palestinian refugee camp in Ain Al-Hilweh area, Southern Lebanon, and the vicinity on the basis of the ceasefire concluded under the auspices of the Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri.
The steadfast serenity has encouraged the families, which were displaced to Sidon city as a result of the recent clashes, to return to their homes in the camp.
Meanwhile, the committee concerned with following up the implementation of Ain Al-Hilweh ceasefire agreement convened at the Lebanese General Security headquarters in Beirut.
Al-Manar reporter indicated that the committee is planning to form a security command framework, joined by the representatives of all the Palestinian factions in addition to the Lebanese Army Intelligence and General Security, in order to maintain the ceasefire.
The reporter emphasized that all the rumors about an imminent eruption of clashes in the camp are false, adding that among the indications of the stability restored in Ain Al-Hilweh was that Fatah Movement appointed General Abu Muhammad Fahd Al-Qdere as a commander of the Palestinian national security in the area to replace General Ashraf Al-Armoushi.
