House Speaker Nabih Berri expressed hopes that the various parliamentary blocs respond positively to his call for dialogue aimed at ending the presidential vacuum.
Speaker Berri announced that he is looking for some stubborn parties to clear their national conscience, adding that he would not wait endlessly to carry out his national duty.
In an interview with Iran’s Al-Wefraq newspaper, Speaker Berri stressed that the presidential elections could not be held without dialogue and consensus.
Meanwhile, Speaker Berri stressed that the Iranian-Saudi agreement is feasible for the two countries, adding that, if the all the stipulations of the pact were implemented, progress and stability will be witnessed in the whole region.
