Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi says that when unilateralism collapses, regional organizations and countries will shape the future of the world.
Raisi made the remarks in a meeting with the visiting Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Kairat Sarybay in Tehran on Tuesday.
He voiced Iran’s readiness to share know-how with CICA members in the spheres of science and technology, economic growth, as well as in the fight against terrorism and organized crimes.
During the meeting, Raisi also stressed the need for bolstering interregional transport corridors.
Kairat Sarybay, for his part, hailed Iran for hosting CICA-related events, particularly those focused on fight against terrorism and economic development.
Touching on Iran’s achievements in various fields, especially science, and technology, he called on Iran to exchange experiences with CICA member states in those fields.
CICA is a multi-national forum for enhancing cooperation towards promoting peace, security, and stability in Asia.
Presently, CICA has 28 member states accounting for nearly ninety percent of the territory and population of Asia. Nine countries and five multi-national organizations, including the United Nations, have observer status in the bloc.
