Israeli occupation military claimed drone launched from the Gaza Strip was intercepted by Iron Dome shield on Saturday.

The Iron Dome system “did detect a hostile aircraft, a suspected drone” according to Israeli media, and intercepted it over the territory of the Gaza Strip.

It intercepted it even before it entered the occupied territories from Gaza, the Jerusalem Post reported.

It also claimed that Israeli settlers heard an explosion in the settlement of Sderot.

Footage circulated on Israeli media allegedly showed two Iron Dome interceptor missiles fired at the device, which was not visible.
