Two terrorists involved in the deadly attack in Izeh were killed and two people involved in the attack were arrested in a joint operation of Iran’s Intelligence Ministry, Police, and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
According to Iranian media, on November 14-15, two gunmen on motorbikes started shooting at people and law enforcement officers in Izeh, a city in Iran’s southwestern province of Khuzestan, in which seven were killed and 142 more were injured.
Two of the perpetrators of the deadly attack in Izeh were arrested and the two others were killed in the joint operation, according to a statement by the Public Relations of the IRGC on Tuesday. Some war weapons were also found with the terrorists.
The terrorist act came only three weeks after 15 pilgrims, including a woman and two children, were martyred and 19 others were wounded in a terrorist attack on the Shah Cheragh holy shrine in the city of Shiraz in Fars Province.
