The head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, confirmed during his meeting with Sanaa government Defense Minister Major General Nasser Al-Atifi that “no breach of the armistice will be accepted,” stressing “the necessity of disbursing all salaries of state employees and restoring the looted oil and gas revenues.”
Al-Mashat noted that “the standing status quo forces the coalition of aggression to release the detained ships,” and assured the Yemeni people that “they are now able to take their legitimate rights,” and that “this crisis created by the coalition of aggression will soon end.”
This comes at a time when the Yemeni Oil Company reported that the coalition of aggression seized a new diesel ship, bringing the number of seized fuel ships to 10.
The company held the forces of aggression and the United Nations fully responsible for the humanitarian and economic repercussions resulting from the continued blockade and the detention of oil derivatives ships.
Yesterday, the head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, said that “if the fuel ships do not enter the Al-Hudaydah port, consultations will take place with council members to take the appropriate decision.”
During his meeting with the Minister of Defense, Al-Mashat praised the military development witnessed by the Yemeni army, which was evident through the development in the military parades that took place in various military regions, the last of which was the majestic military parade, “The Promise of the Hereafter.”
Al-Mashat described the Yemeni armed forces as a “safety valve for the homeland”, capable of bringing down all foreign conspiracies to divide it.
In turn, Minister of Defense Mohammad Nasser Al-Atifi said that “the armed forces are ready, whether to answer the aggression’s violation of the terms of the armistice or in terms of the comprehensive confrontation with the aggression coalition.”
Al-Atifi pointed out that the armed forces have reached “advanced levels that will surprise the coalition of aggression if it does not take advantage of the temporary truce to end its aggression and siege.”
It is noteworthy that in the military parade of the Yemeni army “The Promise of the Hereafter”, the number of participating forces reached 25,000 fighters, during which the naval and coastal defense forces revealed “Yemeni-made marine missiles that have never been unveiled before, the Mandeb 2 and Mandeb 1 and Russian-made missiles Rubezh.
