Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian told the Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh that Zionists’ crime of killing Palestinian women and children a sign of desperation and weakness of this regime.
“It is a great achievement that once again the Resistance was able to stand against the vast military power of the Zionist enemy and force them to accept a ceasefire and the terms of the Resistance within two days,” Amir Abdollahian said in a phone call with Haniyeh on Monday night.
He said that in the 3-day battle in Gaza, only a part of the Resistance Front faced the enemy, describing this as “a great achievement that revealed the weakness of the Zionists more than in the past,” the top Iranian diplomat was quoted as saying by Mehr news agency.
For his part, Haniyeh lauded the Islamic Republic of Iran’s support for Palestine.
He said that the Zionist enemy was trying to impose its equations on the Palestinian people and the resistance in the Gaza Strip, but noted that it faced heroic resistance by the Palestinian people.
“The recent victory of the resistance front opened a new chapter in the confrontation with the Zionist regime,” he added.
