Qatar’s Foreign Minister Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani arrived in Tehran on Wednesday and was welcomed by his Iranian counterpart Hussein Amirabdollahian.
Mohammad bin Abdulrahman and Amirabdollahian will discuss bilateral, regional and international issues.
The visit comes as Qatar hosted the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States last week which was facilitated by the European Union.
The two will appear before reporters after the meeting.
