Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei said on Tuesday that Iran’s secret of being victorious lies in standing up and not fearing enemies.
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks during a meeting with the country’s senior judiciary officials on the occasion of the 41st martyrdom anniversary of former Iranian chief justice Ayatollah Mohammad Hussein Beheshti in 1981.
“The enemy cannot understand that there are other calculations in this world other than the political ones, which are the divine traditions,” the Leader said.
There were times in which the enemy got overexcited and imagined that the Revolution and Islamic system have come to an end, Ayatollah Khamenei said, however noting that the hopes of the enemy soon turned into despair.
The Leader referred to different examples of divine traditions in the Holy Quran and said that if the human societies stand against the enemies and carry out their duties with reliance on God, they will emerge victorious while discord, and laziness will lead to defeat.
Ayatollah Khamenei underlined the need for a scientific and sociological study of the divine traditions.
Noting that the Iranian nation was subject to one of the divine traditions – Jihad and resistance – in 1981 and came out to disappoint the enemy, the Supreme Leader said that today the same law exists and the God of 2022 is the same God of 1981.
We have to try to be an example of the divine traditions so as to end in progress and victory, Ayatollah Khamenei said.
