Kazakh Foreign Ministry announced Tuesday the completion of preparations to host the Syrian negotiations under the auspices of Russia, Turkey, Iran and the United Nations.
In an interview with Interfax news agency, Mukhtar Tellobrda, first deputy foreign minister, said: “Our country welcomes hosting the negotiations and we are ready to provide the place.”
“We are ready to receive the negotiators,” he added.
Negotiations between the Syrian parties are expected to kick off in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan in the 23 of this month under the auspices of Moscow and Ankara and Tehran in the presence of UN envoy to the Syrian settlement, Staffan de Mistura.
