Dozens of Thousands of Palestinians performed prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque in the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan.
Islamic Waqf announced that more than 160,000 Palestinian were at Al-Aqsa for Friday prayers at noon, despite oppressive Israeli measures aimed at preventing the access of worshipers to the holy site.
Earlier at dawn on Friday, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) attacked Palestinians in Al-Aqsa Mosque, injuring at least 13 prayers who were barricaded in the compound.
Occupation forces stormed Al-Aqsa following dawn prayers and attacked Palestinian worshipers with rubber bullets and tear gas canisters, Al-Mayadeen reported.
They also assaulted children and women, forcing them to leave the courtyards of Al-Aqsa mosque.
IOF besieged Palestinian worshipers inside Al-Qibali prayer hall, aiming their guns at worshipers inside the Dome of the Rock Mosque.
