Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Syrian counterpart Walid al-Moallem on Saturday reviewed Syrian sustainable ceasefire in the third round of negotiations in Tehran.
According to Foreign Ministry Media Department, the two foreign ministers also talked about humanitarian aids, fight against terrorist groups and proposed political initiatives for peace talks in Syria.
Walid al-Moallem arrived in Tehran on the head of high ranking delegation, which included Maj. Gen. Ali Mamlouk, Head of Syrian National Security Bureau, on Saturday early afternoon and immediately began consultations with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
He is scheduled to meet with a number of other senior officials of Iran on humanitarian grounds.
This is the third round of talks between the two foreign ministers held privately.
