Hezbollah and Amal Movement commands in Bekaa held on Thursday a meeting and issued a joint statement which reiterated commitment to the socioeconomic causes of the Lebanese people.
The statement also underscored the necessity of holding the parliamentary elections next spring in order to renew the politics in Lebanon and let the Lebanese people express their opinion.
On the second anniversary of the former head of IRGC’s Quds Force General Qassem Suleimani and deputy head of Iraq’s Hashd Shaabi paramilitary force Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, Hezbollah and Amal Movement highlighted the importance of following the path of the two martyrs in order to achieve liberation of the occupied territories and protect sovereignty of every regional country.
On January 3, 2020, a US drone attack claimed the two martyrs Suleimani and Al-Muhandis after targeting their convoy near Baghdad airport.
