Israeli occupation enemy launched at dawn on Wednesday a new aggression on Syria, SANA news agency reported.

SANA said the aerial aggression targeted hit a military post on the outskirts of the capital of Damascus, causing material damage.

“At about 02:58 a.m. today, the Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression with a number of missiles from the direction of northern occupied Palestine targeting one of the posts in Damascus Countryside in Zakyia area, and only material damage was reported,” the Syrian agency quoted a military source as saying.

It was the second Israeli aggression to target areas near the capital in four days. The earlier attack on Saturday activated Syrian air defenses, when missiles were fired during the day toward suburbs of Damascus, wounding two soldiers.
