Al-Wefaq Islamic Association in Bahrain issued on Tuesday a statement in which it mourned the ex-prisoner, Mohammad Ali Nas, who succumbed to his illness deteriorated by the medical dereliction at the regime jail.
Al-Wefaq clarified that the martyr Nas used to suffer from the sickle disease at the jail, adding that his medical situation exacerbated after he contracted the coronavirus amid the regime rejection of releasing him.
The Association noted that, obliged by the martyr’s medical deterioration, the regime authorities decided only few months ago to release him.
The statement called for releasing all the political prisoners in order to avoid losing more martyrs due to the medical dereliction at the regime jails.
