Lebanese caretaker Minister of Health Hamad Hassan announced on Wednesday that new age groups will be vaccinated.

“In line with the increasing number of Covid-19 infections, and after vaccinating 30-49 age group with AstraZeneca, and 50 and above age group with Pfizer, the Ministry of Public Health launches a Pfizer vaccination campaign to cover age groups between 1997-1992 that had been registered on the COVAX platform until July 31,” he said via his Twitter account

“An option to register 12-year-old children and above is currently available on COVAX platform in preparation for later coverage,” the minister added, as quoted by the National News Agency (NNA).
