Caretaker Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, condemned ON Tuesday the bombing that took place in Sadr City in Iraq one day earlier.
In a cable to Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, Premier Diab said: “Targeting security and stability in brotherly Iraq is a crime committed by conspirators against Iraq and its honorable people.”
“While I strongly condemn this terrorist attack, I offer you my sincere condolences for the falling of martyrs; I wish a speedy recovery for the wounded, and I assure you of Lebanon and the Lebanese people’s standing with you.”
30 people were martyred and 35 wounded on Monday in an explosion at a local market in Iraq’s Sadr city east of the capital Baghdad, police and hospital sources said.
