Israeli occupation stepped up its military aggression against Gaza, targeting residential areas across the coastal enclave.
Ignoring international calls for calm, Israeli warplanes and artillery went ahead with its attacks on Gaza Strip’s north and south on Thursday night and early Friday morning.
As for Friday morning, the latest death toll has risen to 119, including at least 28 children and 15 women, Gaza’s Health Ministry announced. At least 621 people have been wounded.
Occupation army announced on Friday that 160 warplanes took part in the attacks on Gaza.
Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that sirens didn’t stop to sound overnight, with dozens of Palestinian rockets pounding Israeli cities in the Zionist entity’s south.
At least six Israelis and one Indian national have been killed. The Israeli occupation army said hundreds of rockets have been fired from Gaza towards various locations in the Zionist entity since the latest round of fighting started last Monday.
Occupation army also said it stepped up the deployment of troops and tanks near the besieged Palestinian enclave.
