Iran’s deputy Foreign Minister and head of the Iranian delegation to the JCPOA talks in Vienna, Abbas Araqchi, said on Friday that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action negotiations are on the right track, citing a number of obstacles that are still the final agreement.
Araqchi indicated that the Iranian negotiators are scrutinizing every single term jotted on agreement document, adding that three negotiation subgroups were formed to enhance the agreement.
Iran’s chief negotiator noted that each subgroup would discuss one of the following issues: Iran’s nuclear commitments, the removal of US sanctions, addressing the disputes related to the removal of the sanctions.
A new meeting will be held today (Friday) between Iran and the P4+1 (Russia, China, UK, France and Germany) to discuss the reports of the three expert groups.
