Lebanon recorded on Sunday 1,324 new coronavirus cases and 24 related deaths, Ministry of Public Health announced.

In its daily report, the ministry said that 1,307 of the new infections were recorded among local residents during the last 24 hours, noting that the other 17 other infections were imported.

The number of total infections recorded in the country since February 2020 reached 520,939, the ministry said.

24 new fatalities were registered over the past 24 hours, raising the nationwide death toll to 7,142, according to the report.
