Lebanon registered on Sunday 1,900 new coronavirus cases and 39 related deaths, Ministry of Public Health announced.

In its daily report, the ministry said that 1,858 of the new infections were recorded among local residents, noting that the other 42 other infections were imported cases registered during the last 24 hours.

The number of total infections recorded in the country since February 2020 reached 510,403, the ministry said.

39 new fatalities were registered over the past 24 hours, raising the nationwide death toll to 6,925, according to the report.
