The report added that 21700 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 360244.

According to the report, 45 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 6058.

The report noted that 125106 citizens received the first shot Pfizer vaccine, adding that the second shot have been given to 69013 of them.

Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of Pfizer vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut on a weekly basis. Moreover, on March 22, the country started a new phase of a comprehensive plan to ease a total lockdown and reopen the economic sectors which took into effect on the eight of the same month.
