The report added that 14494 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 175316.

According to the report, 59 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 2680.

To face this increase in the coronavirus cases, the Lebanese authorities extended a total lockdown that has started on January 14 and will be enforced till February 8.
