Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Rahi, regretted, in his Christmas message to the Lebanese,the failure the cabinet formation process.
“The promises that were made to us were not kept, which brought us back to square one.”
There is no justification as to why we do not have a government,” Rahi concluded.
The prime minister-designate Saad Hariri visited on Wednesday Baabda Palace to hold the 14th meeting with President Michel Aoun aimed at forming the new government.
After the meeting, Hariri said that the complications are still hindering the governmental process, adding that the socioeconomic crisis imposes on all the political forces to be cooperative.
