Lebanon started on Saturday a two-week lockdown in the context of the measures aimed at curbing the sharp increase in the coronavirus cases.

Security forces erected checkpoints across the country to track the violations of the lockdown in order to preserve the public safety.

Lebanon has witnessed a dramatic surge in the coronavirus cases with a total of 102607 and 796 related deaths.
