The Zionist entity is under a second full lockdown as the death toll caused by novel coronavirus surpassed 120 on Tuesday.
The government unanimously approved that until dawn on Thursday, Israelis will not be permitted to leave towns and cities, in Passover measures aimed at preventing gatherings.
Following the Passover, Israeli government, the National Security Council, the Health and Defense ministries are supposed to hold a series of meetings to decide on the first phase of what they called “exit strategy,” The Jerusalem Post reported.
However, a third lockdown is likely to be imposed later between April 27 and April 29, the daily added.
Meanwhile, the Zionist entity’s deaths caused by the contagious disease stands at 122 people Tuesday afternoon.
A total of 11,868 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed by the Israeli Health Ministry, including 180 patients in serious condition,136 requiring ventilation. Some 2,000 individuals have recovered from the virus.
