The Ministry of Public Health announced that, to date (April 2, 2020), 494 cases have been confirmed by the Hariri University Hospital and accredited university hospital laboratories, in addition to private laboratories, marking an increase of 15 cases since yesterday. It is to note that 539 tests have been conducted over the past twenty-four hours.

Four new coronavirus deaths have been recorded, bringing the toll to 16.
