The Secretariat General of the Lebanese Parliament issued Monday a statement in which it announced the suspension of the committees’ sessions in context of precautionary measures against the coronavirus.
The statement added that the headquarters of the deputies’ offices will be closed, pointing out that the weekly meeting this Wednesday (March 11) at the residence of the House Speaker in Ain Al-Tineh will be postponed.
Lebanon has so far recorded 32 coronavirus cases, as the health minister Dr. Hamad Hasan announced that the country has moved from the stage of containment to that of limited spread of the infection.
