Two Israeli drones came down early Sunday over Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh), causing damage to Hezbollah media center.
“The first drone fell without causing damage while the second one was laden with explosives and exploded causing huge damage to the media center,” Head of Hezbollah’s Media Relations office Mohammad Afif told media on Sunday.
Al-Manar reporter Hasan Khalifeh said one of the drones came down at 1:00 a.m. (Beirut time) in the backyard of the building where Hezbollah media office is located in Dahiyeh’s Mouawwad neighborhood. Half an hour later another drone laden with explosives went off in the same area, causing damage to the center and the building.
The reporter stressed meanwhile, that there were no casualties due to the Israeli aggression.
“Response to Be Announced by Sayyed Nasrallah”
Hezbollah’s Afif affirmed that the Lebanese resistance movement did not down any of the Israeli drones.
When asked about Hezbollah’s response, Afif said it will be announced by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah who is scheduled to speak today during a ceremony marking the second anniversary of Lebanon’s Second Liberation.
Hezbollah is holding a ceremony at 5:30 p.m. in the Al-Ain town in Baalbek, to mark the second anniversary of the victory achieved by Lebanese army and Hezbollah against Takfiri terrorists in the outskirts of al-Qaa and Ras Baalbek.

For its part, the Lebanese Army confirmed two Israeli drones violated the Lebanese air space, noting that one of them came down while the other exploded in Beirut’s Dahiyeh.
“Two drones belonging to the Israeli enemy violated Lebanese airspace (at dawn)… over the southern suburbs of Beirut. The first fell while the second exploded in the air causing material damage,” an army statement said.
